In Chesapeake, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Virginia vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Angelo's Tires and Auto Repair at (757) 752-5000; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, angelostiresandautorepairs.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 1,486 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Chesapeake and suggests consistent service.

Chesapeake is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Chesapeake is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Virginia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Another car almost took off my right side passenger door and I wasn't able to drive home to New York because I couldn't close my door. We called angelo's asked if there was anything they could do.They told us to bring it over.He came out literally two minutes after we got there.Unscrewed, the hinge was able to shut our door and find a makeshift way to keep it latched. After when we asked him how much it would be, he said, don't even worry about it. Amazing customer service, amazing response time. Overall, fantastic.

Patched me right up! (I sprayed the white paint for my disabled veteran self can remember where it was plugged up at lol, it's been a while since I needed some help from the auto industry side). Very much appreciate for them being open past 7pm. That gave me a little bit more time to call and look around.Had to go out of my way of my local area. But was worth it took them less that 5 mins. (GMC Dealerships sercive side need to take notes)

My 10yr and I were on the side of the road in a bad spot. It was 93° outside and just one of those one headache after another days. A flat tire, and no spare, after 5PM on a Sunday!?!? What tire shop is open? I just knew I'd have to call out from work and get this taken care of on Monday. Nah! Angelo's Tires and Auto Repair was there in a clutch. OPEN TILL 8PM ON A SUNDAY!!! CRAZY!¡! I'm definitely locking their number!

We always seem to only have tire problems on Sunday's. Angelo's is not only open on a Sunday, but they also told us to bring it right in and came out RIGHT away to look at our tire. The screw in my tire didn't actually puncture it, so after removing the screw and checking for an air leak to be sure it was safe, they then sent us on our way with no charge! We will only ever use Angelo's from now on! Thank you!!

If I could give this tire shop 10 stars I would.I was so happy I found a tire shop open on Sunday 🙌🏽 I’m newly divorced, I had the courage to leave a very abusive marriage and currently living in the shelter with my children. Just became a Certified Pharmcy Tech in December, I didn’t get my license from the the state until February. So from November until February I was unemployed. I had gotten so far behind on things. When I informed my manager I got my license he informed me that he didn’t have the hours for me to work 🥺 it was set back after set back. On the way to the grocery store I realized my tire was flat. I was first quoted a price that was out of my price range. It was reasonable price but due to me not working I didn’t have it. I called back and explained my situation and thankfully they found me a tire within my price range. I use my car to take my kids back and forth to school and I picked up extra shifts at work this week. If it wasn’t for them I would really be outback Kids, No school…Me no work. I’m so grateful they didn’t just see me as some random customer but as a human being that mattered to them, being that I grew up with a mom and had a husband who made me fe
